SRRC radio model approval

SRRC is the State Radio Regulatory Commission of the People’s Republic of China

SRRC certification (SRMC certification) is a mandatory certification requirement of the National Radio Management Committee. Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) has mandated that all radio component products sold and used in China are required. You must obtain a Radio Type Approval Certification.

The State Radio Monitoring Center (SRMC), formerly known as the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC), is the only agency in mainland China that has been authorized to test and certify radio model approvals. At present, China has set a special frequency range for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies can be legally used in China. In other words, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in its territory will specify different frequencies. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the scope of certain radio transmission equipment, not only apply for "radio model approval certification", but also must apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or Network Access License (MII) approval.

The National Radio Monitoring Center is a directly affiliated institution of the Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China. It is mainly responsible for radio monitoring and radio spectrum management. It is the supporting organization for China's radio management.

Application Procedures


(1) To apply for the approval of radio transmitting equipment, the following materials shall be submitted:

1. Application Form for Approved Radio Transmission Equipment Models;
2. A copy of the “Enterprise Legal Person Business License” of the applicant, the introduction of the production capacity, technical strength and quality assurance system of the applicant;
3. Equipment model technical manual or technical manual, circuit block diagram or schematic diagram and instruction manual;
4, a set of color photos of the equipment, the photo should clearly show the application unit, equipment model, equipment serial number of the sign and the structural size of the equipment;
5. A copy of the documentary evidence of the foreign approval of the equipment of the foreign applicant;
6. If the handling unit is an agent application unit, it shall submit a copy of the “Power of Attorney for Approved Radio Transmission Equipment Model” and the “Business License for Enterprise Legal Person” of the applicant application unit;
7. The “Test Report” is approved by the model issued by the testing agency certified by the Radio Authority for the semi-annual period;
8. The applicant or the applicant of the application unit must hold a copy of the company's employee identification and personal valid identification certificate presented by the equipment application unit or the agent application unit.

(2) The domestic application unit or its entrusted application unit submits an application to the radio management agency of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government. The radio regulatory agencies of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall complete the preliminary examination within 20 working days from the date of accepting the application. If the initial review does not agree, the application materials will be returned to the applicant. If the preliminary examination agrees, the application materials will be submitted to the Radio Administration of the Ministry of Information Industry.

 
Acceptance, review and decision procedures


(1) The Radio Administration of the Ministry of Information Industry reviews the application materials received. If the application materials are incomplete or do not conform to the statutory form, they shall inform the applicant of the materials that need to be corrected on the spot or within 5 working days. If the application materials are complete and conform to the statutory form, or if the applicant submits all the correction materials as required, it shall be accepted and notified in writing. If it is not accepted, the applicant shall be notified in writing.


(2) The Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry shall make a decision on approval or disapproval of the model approval application within 20 working days from the date of acceptance. For approval, the "Radio Launch Equipment Type Approval Certificate" shall be issued; if the approval is not granted, the applicant shall be notified in writing and the reasons shall be explained.
