ELOT certification
ELOT can be applied to certification procedures and systems (eg ISO certification system).
Amended
by Law 1682/1997 and Presidential Decree 155/1997, "Greek Corporate
Standardization Organization> Company Integration and Decree", Entity
372/76 "ELOT Establishment and Operation" commissioned ELOT to develop
certification activities. According
to the ministerial resolution signed by the Ministry of Development,
the certification procedure for the Greek company standardization
organization, ELOT can apply certification procedures and systems (eg
ISO certification system). Under
this procedure, ELOT grants a certificate of certification, which is
referred to as an ELOT certificate, indicating that the product,
program, behavior, organization, system, and individual meet regulatory
requirements.
For
those products that comply with the Greek Standard, European Standard
(EN), European Experimental Standard (CEN), Coordination Document (HD),
European Telecommunications Standard (ETSI), Trial European
Telecommunications Standard (I-ETS), awarded by ELOT, CEN Or CENELEC or a qualified mark issued by ETSI, this is called the Greek Qualified Mark.
ELOT is a joint certification organization that authorizes the issuance of these logos.
ELOT
also uses its equipment and personnel, or an approved third party to
collaborate on sampling, testing, inspection, and evaluation of
processes and systems.

The
product certification in the General Regulations includes product
certification schemes, product certifications and specific rules for
each product, which are based on ISO/IEC related guidelines and ISO
45000 series standards.
ELOT
has developed and implemented certification schemes for the following
areas, including: household appliances, cables, steel for reinforced
steel, asbestos cement, ceramic tiles, sanitary products, concrete,
switches, etc.

The ELOT/CMs-ELOT/CCs certificate issuance and maintenance process is generally divided into the following steps: n
